5 Mother’s Day Gifts That She’ll Love

To me, Mother’s Day has always been about doing something special for your momma.  Whether it’s a spa day, a night out, or even making her dinner…there’s so many things you can do for your mom on this wonderful day!  I usually get my mama bear flowers for when she wakes up (even if that means getting them the night before), plan a fun activity, and then get a couple small gifts I know she’ll love.  Now I’m not going to tell you exactly what I got my mom – mainly because she reads the blog, so I don’t want her to find out – but here are some cute things that I may or may not have gotten her this year, or in the past!

Quote Journal

Target – $7.99

My mom and I both have an obsession with notebooks/journals.  We can’t get enough of them!  Since we’re both very creative people, there’s always something new we need a separate notebook for…so it’s best to have a few extra always on hand!  I especially love the ones quotes quotes on them (yes, I’m suuuuuuch a girl).  It helps me get inspired when I haven’t been feeling it!

Bring The Spa To Her

Target - $16.00

Target – $16.00

I’m a huge essential oil freak…in fact, I did a post on it in March!  Having an aromatherapy oil diffuser can make life so much more relaxing.  They’re a great household item to have, and your mom can fill it with any scent she wants!

Jewelry, Of Course

Nordstrom - $68.00

Nordstrom – $68.00

Jewelry is always a good idea.  One can never have enough!  If you are going to buy her a piece of jewelry, really put some thought into it!  What’s her favorite color?  What’s her favorite activity?  When would she wear it out?  Make sure it practically fits into her life so she can show it off to all her friends!

Framed Photo

T.J. Maxx - $6.99

T.J. Maxx – $6.99

There’s nothing more sentimental than a framed photo.  Your mom will probably be in tears when she sees that cute picture of her holding you when you were a baby all framed up!

Something Hand Made

Hand made photo-book, piece of jewelry, a drawing/painting, or even just making her card from scratch shows you put a lot of love and thought into it!

I hope these ideas help you out!  The big day is coming – May 8th!
