Taylor Momsen: The original choker-wearing, fishnet loving, badass chick of our generation.
When Ms. Momsen originally made the switch from being Little J to the lead singer in a rock band with scandalous clothes and dark makeup, it was a bit of a shocker! It took me some time to get used to her this way, and now I absolutely love it. I love that she doesn’t do anything to please anyone but herself (I’m saying this in the least selfish way I can). Your twenties is your time to be selfish and figure out who you are, and Taylor is doing a damn good job recently!! Not to mention, her song “Make Me Wanna Die”….makes me wanna die it’s so damn good. I can really connect to her and that’s one thing I always look for! Plus, her style is so on point and hot! She pushes the limits and that’s what makes her unique and my it girl of the month.
