Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year…even though it’s now almost the middle of October and Los Angeles is still freaking burning up!!! Here’s some of my favorite fall trends in anticipation that I’ll actually get to wear them….maybe by December?
1. The Oversized Sweater – I mean, I basically live in those year round so I’m all for this trend.
2. Fur – It wouldn’t be fall without a collection of faux fur in your closet!
3. Cropped Sweater – This seems to be quite the thing this fall. Pair with a blouse under and some snazzy Annie Hall trousers and you’re set! PS – turtle necks are making a comeback as well!
4. The Robe Coat – Basically, Hugh Hefner has finally won the battle and we are all wearing robes as coats now. That’s cool, he’s a legend. We can copy him.
5. Motorcycle Vest – You have to have some element of bad-assness in your fall wardrobe and this is the perfect way to do that!
6. The Minimalist Sneaker – We all need a good pair of white or cream sneakers to slip on. They’re a great daily shoe!
7. Western Hat – I’m aware that the “big black hat” has already “been in” for a while. I’ve been rocking it for over a year. However, we have a slight adjustment to make with them this fall…and it involves us all looking like cowboys. The added Western embellishment keeps this hat in the now.
8. Skater Skirt – The perfect combo of flirty and dirty. You could even pair this with the Motorcycle Vest for some extra fun.
9. Mod Boot – Love these shoes from Sam Edelman. They’re simple, mod, and the hottest shoe this fall.
