During my vacation in Oklahoma, I’ve been trying out a lot of different looks!!! This is by far one of my favorites!!! I was going for a modern version of Satine in Moulin Rouge! Something you could do everyday that has a hint of vintage style that I absolutely love!!
For the makeup, I used my regular concealer/foundation routine. Then I put on just a tiny bit of “CORALista” by Benefit blush!!! This is my favorite blush!!! Plus I’m pretty much obsessed with the packaging. For the eyes, I swept on Darkhorse from the “Naked” by Urban Decay palette over my lid. Do my classic winged eye liner, apply some mascara, and then add my favorite dark red lipstick from Rimmel and the makeup is done!!
The hair is quite simple too! Using a 1″ barrel curing iron from Hot Tools, turn the iron upside down so that you’re curling from your roots. Curl away from your face!!! The only part you don’t use the iron on is your bangs, or in my case, the hair closest to your face!! With that section take a large round brush and blow dry this part down. Keep the brush in the hair for a few seconds without the heat, and then sweep the section over to the side you want. Flip your hair down, hairspray, flip back up, and you’re done!!!
