I’m so excited to be going on my first weekend getaway of the year! My friends and I are going away to Vegas this weekend for a bachelorette party! So before I packed all my stuff up, I thought I’d do a post on some weekend essentials. Even though we’re driving, I still like to pack travel size essentials…mainly to save space in my suitcase.
Polaroid Camera
I don’t care how basic you think this is…I’ve had this camera for 6 years and I take it on every trip. It’s pretty much a tradition at this point.
Sunscreen
Even though it says “Kids”, everyone can use it. I love this spray because it’s affordable, paraben free, and the brand does not test on animals.
Face Sunscreen
I won’t leave the house without this sunscreen on my face. It’s smooth, the perfect primer, and another cruelty-free brand. (You’re going to discover that everything on this list is cruelty-free.)
Body Lotion
Pacifica’s heaven in a bottle. Literally smells like a dream…and is also vegan & cruelty-free!
Dry Shampoo
I only wash my hair once or twice a week. It helps keep the natural oils you hair needs!! In fact, the less you wash your hair, the healthier it is. This is my favorite dry shampoo. I love the brand and they make travel sizes for the woman on the go!
Makeup Mist Setter
Okay, e.l.f. is my jam. This bottle right here is $3. YES, THAT’S RIGHT. THREE. DOLLARS. You only need a few sprays per day so it lasts a long time, the brand is great, they don’t test on animals, and I’m pretty much just overall in love with them. Cheers.
Obviously you need to bring your shampoo, conditioner, face wash, toothpaste, and toothbrush…but those are a given. I usually get some little bottles from Target so I can bring the regular brand I use. The worst thing to do is to switch up your routine with a different face wash just because your brand doesn’t come in a travel size bottle – it could cause a breakout or even dry patches. Put it in your own bottle!
