I’ve been trying to be super healthy lately! Especially with these crazy heat waves that we’ve been getting in Los Angeles! I used to never eat breakfast (stupid, I know). Recently, I’ve been starting every day with a new routine and it helps me get through my crazy hectic days! Here’s my morning breakfast that I suggest everyone to try out!
For my food, I got this awesome recipe from Gwyneth Paltrow’s cookbook It’s All Good and it’s seriously the most yummy thing ever! All you have to do is toast a piece of whole grain (or wheat) bread, put some veganaise on top, and then half of an avocado! I like to sprinkle a little Himalayan pink salt and pepper on it too!
Some people like to drink milk or coffee in the morning, but before I go for my caffeine fix, I drink a bottle of ZICO Coconut water! ZICO has 5 naturally occurring electrolytes: sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus! It’s all natural, which means there’s zero fat, zero cholesterol, and is never sweetened! I love ZICO because when I first wake up, drinking plain water is a little hard for me…the natural flavor of the coconut is just what I need to get my morning started!
And lastly, I take all my vitamins! Seeing as I take a lot, ZICO definitely helps me through the many vitamins in my diet! Here’s the list of vitamins I take every morning: Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Coconut Oil pills, Biotin, Iron (every other day), Vitamin B-12, and Cranberry pills! All of these vitamins do different things to contribute to your health and it’s different for everyone so it’s best to go to your doctor to see what your body is asking you for!
